MysticHorizonsMC Community Guidelines & Server Rules​

These guidelines apply to all platforms, including our Minecraft servers, Discord, forums, website, and software services. They are designed to maintain a fair, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone.

General Conduct​

• Respect Everyone: Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or targeted attacks are prohibited.
• Stay Civil: Debates are fine, but toxicity, flaming, or trolling is not.
• No NSFW or Harmful Content: This includes usernames, images, builds, or discussions.
• Keep Discussions in the Right Channels: Use appropriate forums or channels.

Fair Play & Game Behavior​

1. Griefing​

Any of the following actions are considered griefing and are punishable:

• Destroying or modifying someone else's builds
• Using lava, water, mobs, or redstone for harm
• Death traps, spawn killing, or team killing
• Lag machines or illusion griefing
• Killing another player’s animals or stealing from containers

2. Exploits & Abuse​

• Using bugs, glitches, or plugin flaws to gain unfair advantages
• Map abuse or unintended farming methods

3. Server Obstruction & Inappropriate Conduct​

• Ignoring staff orders or interfering with server operations
• Rebuilding removed inappropriate content
• Physically blocking or intentionally disrupting others
• Begging for items, staff ranks, or donator perks

4. Chat Offenses & Trolling​

• Spamming, flooding, or bypassing chat filters
• Fake messages, impersonation, or explicit conversations
• Trolling players or wasting staff time
• Sharing inappropriate or unrelated links

5. Threats & Personal Info​

• No DDoS, doxing, or threats of violence (even as jokes)
• Never share or leak private info (yours or others)

Client Modifications​

Banned Mods​

• Hacked Clients, X-Ray, AutoClickers, AutoFish, Macros/Scripts
• Baritone, CMDCam, GammaBright, Elytra Fly, StepUp, AutoJoin
• Unapproved texture packs (showing durability, status, stack size)
• Fly mods or cheat scripts of any kind

Screenshare Policy​

• Staff may request a Discord screenshare at any time
• You must comply within 5 minutes
• Tampering, logging out, or modifying files is considered refusal

Approved Mods​

Performance:

• OptiFine, Sodium, Lithium, Starlight, FerriteCore, Dynamic FPS

Utility:

• Jade, WTHIT, REI, JEI, AppleSkin, Inventory HUD+, Durability Viewer, Mouse Tweaks

Aesthetic:

• Blur, Iris Shaders, FancyMenu, EnhancedVisuals, Minecraft Capes, Continuity

Specialized Tools:

• MiniHUD, Light Level Overlay, Sodium Extra, AuthMe, PetOwner, WorldEditCUI

When in doubt, ask staff before using a mod.​

Partner Rules & Advertising​

• Do not promote other servers or content without permission
• Partners may advertise in approved areas on their own platforms
• MysticHorizonsMC staff may moderate partner servers for global violations

Miscellaneous Global Offenses​

• Ban/Mute evasion via alternate accounts or IP switching
• Lag creation using machines, scripts, or exploits
• Offensive or inappropriate usernames/skins
• Severe griefing or large-scale scams

Enforcement & Appeals​

• Staff decisions are final but may be appealed respectfully
• Punishments may include warnings, mutes, bans, or permanent removal
• Appeal through our Discord ticket system or support website
