Quick Start
- Set up a Cauldron
- Place a heat source under it (fire/soul fire, lava/magma, campfire/soul campfire).
- Fill with water. Right-click ingredients into the cauldron.
- Right-click the cauldron with a clock to check cook time. Bottle with 3 Glass Bottles when the recipe’s Cook Time is reached.
- Distill (only if a recipe requires it)
- Use a Brewing Stand with 1 Glowstone Dust in the top slot as a filter (not consumed).
- Each full brew cycle = 1 Distill Run. Unless the recipe lists a custom time, assume ~40s per run.
- Age (only if a recipe requires it)
- Build a Small or Big barrel and place a sign that literally says: Barrel (keyword required on this server).
- Put bottles inside and wait. On this server, 1 “year” = 20 minutes.
- Over-aging or wrong wood can spoil quality.
Server Settings & Tips
- Sealing: Sealing is enabled. Use a Smoker as the Sealing Table (also craftable: 2 Bottles over 4 Planks). Sealed brews hide exact alcohol but show “Alcoholic”.
- Aging in Minecraft Barrels: Enabled. Each barrel can store up to 6 brews.
- Particles: Cauldron particles are enabled—helpful for timing your cooks.
- Quality & Info: Stars (★) for quality are always shown; alcohol content and “Alcoholic” indicator are shown; the brewer’s name is shown; hints for ruined brews are enabled.
- Drunkenness: You’ll stumble when drunk and may puke (uncollectable soul sand, despawns ~60s). Very drunk logins may “wake up” somewhere random or at /home.
- Sober Up Items: Golden Apple −8, Bread −4, Milk Bucket −2 drunkenness.
How to Read Recipes
- Cook Time = minutes to boil in the cauldron before bottling.
- Distill Runs/Time = how many brewing-stand cycles; some recipes list a custom seconds-per-run.
- Age = years in a barrel; here 1 year = 20 minutes.
- Wood = barrel wood type (classic mapping below).
- Alcohol = strength. Negative values reduce drunkenness (e.g., coffee).
- Difficulty = precision needed; higher = stricter timing/wood.

Barrels (Build Guide)
- Build Small or Big barrel. Place a sign reading: Barrel (keyword required on this server).
- Inventory size: Small = 1 row, Big = 3 rows. You can open Big barrels from any block.
- You can dump brews into hoppers to keep empty bottles (enabled).
Commands
- /brew — main command (alias of /breweryx). Try /brew help.
- Home wakeups are enabled; type /home if you blacked out.
